Mosta FC have completed the signing of striker Nixon Darliano Reis Cardoso.
The 28-year-old Brazilian striker has put pen to paper on a one-year contract and is set for only his second spell in European football.
In fact, Nixon came through the youth ranks of Flamengo and went on to play for the Brazilian giants in the country’s top league where he amassed 49 appearances and netted eight goals.
Nixon also had a one-year spell in Sweden with Kalmar FF where he struggled to amass first-team football as he represented the Nordic country only seven times without never finding the net.
No doubt, Nixon, who is now in his prime of his career, will be looking to leave his mark in Europe in the Maltese Premier League.
Throughout his career, Nixon also played for CA Porto, Red Bull and AA Portuguesa.
