The host of the show will be former England women and Juventus Women player Eniola Aluko. She will be joined by former Lionesses goalkeeper Rachel Brown Finnis and Rosie Kmita and Mollie Kmita, formerly of West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.

Farrugia will be part of a roster composed by players between the age of 18 and 28, with the filming site being St George’s Park, home of the England national teams.

As far as the show is concerned, 16 players will be chosen from the selected 31 by Aluko and Brown Finnis to participate in the aforementioned game.

From the 31 female players, a team of 16 will be chosen by Eniola and Rachel to prepare for a trial match against a top women’s team, which will be attended by scouts from professional teams from around the world.

BT Sport are yet to announce an official date for the show but it is being reported that its launch should be in late 2020 or early 2021.

Farrugia was one of the key figures at Sunderland Ladies that was leading England’s third-tier during the 2019/2020 season before the coronavirus pandemic dashed their promotion hopes.

She will be part of the Black Cats team this coming season with their league opener pencilled for September 20 against Burnley Women.

At international level, the young forward scored one of Malta’s goals during the ongoing UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 qualifiers in the 1-1 draw against Israel, last November.
