Sliema Wanderers transfer activity continued Tuesday when they announced the signing of Ukrainian forward Ruslan Kisil.
The 28-year-old Ukrainian forward has put pen to paper on a one-year contract.
Kisil spent the majority of his career in his home country where he played for Shaktar II, Ilyichivets and Desna before heading to FK Mariupol.
In 2018, Kisil moved to Kolos Kovalivka before finally making a move to Russian football with Baltika. He also had a spell in Lithuania after he donned the colours of Dainava.
“We are delighted to announce that 28-year-old Ukrainian Ruslan Kisil has joined the blues for the upcoming season,” the Premier League club said in a statement.
“Ruslan is a versatile forward that can play as an attacking midfielder, second striker or winger. Our new signing has spent most of his career playing in his native country Ukraine, where amongst others he has made 21 appearances in the country’s top tier division.”
