Sliema Wanderers continued with their transfer activity when they announced the signing of defender Arthur Cunha.
The 30-year-old central defender has put pen to paper on a one-year contract and rejoins Sylvano Comvalius with whom he played in Indonesia earlier in his career.
“We are thrilled to announce that Brazilian centre back Arthur Cunha has joined the Blues for the upcoming season,” Sliema Wanderers said in a statement.
“In the course of his career the 30-year-old has played in his native country Brazil, Portugal and also Indonesia where he even spent a season playing alongside one of our other new signings, Sylvano Comvalius.
“Moreover, during his early career Arthur had even spent some time training with English side Manchester United.”
