Tarxien Rainbows have reached an agreement to sign Ugandan striker Erisa Ssekisambu.
Earlier this week, the Times of Malta had revealed that the Rainbows were currently giving a trial to Ugandan striker Erisa Ssekisambu.
The players has left a good impression on coach Winston Muscat who decided to sign the towering forward on a deal until the end of the season.
The Rainbows are looking to strengthen their ranks this month after a difficult start to the season which saw the team hovering in the relegation zone.
Muscat has been scouring the market in search of reinforcements and has managed to secure the services of Ssekisambu.
Last season, Ssekisambu played in the Ugandan Premier League with KCCA FC, where he managed to score four goals and registered eight assists.
Earlier in his career he Ssekisambu was on the books of Gor Mahia, Express FC, SC Villa and Ura FC.
Ssekisambu is the Rainbows second signing after earlier today they announced that they have signed Brazilian defender Carlos Chaba.
