Gudja United will strengthen their squad with the signings of defender Thomas Veronese and forward Elton Da Silva, the Times of Malta can reveal.
Both players have been training with the club for some time with coach Jesmond Zammit opting to offer contracts to the former Premier League players.
In fact, both Veronese and Elton are familiar faces to the Maltese top-flight.
The Italian defender played for Mosta, Tarxien Rainbows and Gżira United for a total of 57 games in the Premier League. During these games, the 34-year-old player recorded 15 assists as well.
Meanwhile, Elton, 35, played just 20 games in the Maltese top-flight during his spell at Balzan during the 2012-13 season, in which he scored 14 goals.
Afterwards, the Brazilian player moved to Gozo where he played for Victoria Hotspurs as he remained a crucial player, finding the net 12 times in 10 FA Trophy games with the Gozitan club.
Gudja have also brought in forward Vagner who started the season at Tarxien. The 33-year-old winger played 12 times for the Rainbows, scoring three goals.
Gudja are currently eighth on 20 points, with with six wins and two draws after 13 games.
