The Malta U-15 waterpolo national team discovered their opponents for next month’s European Championships to be held in Loule, Portugal between July 4 and 11.
Anthony Farrugia’s boys booked their ticket for the continental championship finals for the first time last week after topping their qualifying group.
The Maltese boys beat Slovenia 17-4 before holding France to a 10-10 at the National Pool to finish top of Group C on goal difference.
Now, the Maltese face a far bigger challenge when they were drawn in Group B where they will be up agaisnt Italy, Spain and Romania.
Hosts Portugal were drawn in Group A alongside Montenegro, Russia and Germany.
Group C is formed by Greece, Serbia, Turkey and France while Hungary, Georgia, Croatia and Poland are in Group D.
