Mixed fortunes for Ciantar Piccinino sisters in England
Malta women’s U-19’s international Emma Ciantar Piccinino and her Sunderland West End Ladies side were at the receiving end of a 4-0 defeat against Ossett United in NERWFL – Premier league, on Sunday.
Ciantar Piccinino, who during the week was on the scoresheet for Sunderland Foundation of Light against Burnley, was a first-half substitute and went on to play the rest of the game.
Meanwhile, her sister Rachel, featured for Boldon Girls U-16’s against the U-17’s selection of Blyte, winning 6-1. The Maltese youth was on the field for 80 minutes throughout the friendly.
