Lija Athletic president Dr. Peter Fenech has announced his candidacy for the role of Malta Football Association vice president, earlier on Monday.
Fenech, who was reconfirmed as president of the BOV Challenge League Standing Committee back in June, has been president of Lija Athletic since 2018.
Between 2007 and 2010, he was also the vice president of the Malta FA.
The Malta FA will hold its general elections during the next General Assembly on March 15 which marks the end of the first term in office of current president Bjorn Vassallo.
