Maltese player scored for Lewes FC in the 2-2 draw against Reading in January.
Malta international Maria Farrugia won the Barclays Women’s Championship Goal of the Month on Tuesday.
The former Sunderland, Durham Women player claimed the award courtesy of her strike in January’s four-goal thriller against Reading.
For Farrugia, that was her first goal in her 11th appearance for Lewes FC, on her 90th game in English football.
