Farrugia and her Sampdoria side will now face another difficult test as they take on Inter with five games left before the end of the season.
Last month, Farrugia captained the U-17’s Malta side as they hosted the European qualifications where they lost to the Northern Ireland before securing a point in a 1-1 draw against Luxembourg.
