Three young karting drivers, Ben Piscopo, and seven-year-old Morgan Zammit and nine-year-old Dario Mifsud, will be attending a personal and specialised training session with the official team of CRG Karts, intended to improve their driving skills.
For this training, the drivers will be using the latest models of CRG karts, Mini Karts and CRG Black Mirror. The young drivers will be taught by international mechanics and telemetry technicians to analyse every detail and identify every opportunity to improve driving.
The training is happening at the South Garda Karting track in Lonato in the north of Italy between Wednesday and Sunday.
This training was made possible after an agreement with the owner of the CRG factory Giancarlo Tinini and Rueben Mifsud, the owner of a Maltese R33 racing team, and local representative of the CRG brand for Malta.
Formula One drivers like Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Nico Rosberg, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Alex Zanardi and many others started their careers with the CRG team and undergone such training that is now available for Maltese drivers.
R33 Racing Team owner Mifsud said: “The purpose of the training is for our drivers to improve their driving quality and build more confidence when driving abroad.
“Such training sessions involve great sacrifices mentally and physically for drivers as well as a financial burden for their parents.”
