Last season, Scicluna was on the books of Sirens as he played 20 domestic games between Premier League and FA Trophy. He also played in Sirens’ historic game in Europe against CSKA Sofia, in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
Scicluna, 27, is a Birkirkara Academy product with whom he made his senior debut in the 2010/2011 campaign, at age 17.
At Birkirkara, Scicluna made 203 appearances with 16 goals as he managed to lift every domestic trophy while at the Stripes.
Scicluna has also five Malta caps under his belt, having made his debut in a friendly match against Slovakia in 2014.
Earlier this week, Birkirkara announced the signing of midfielder Diego Venancio – formerly of Senglea Athletic and Floriana – as well as they continue to strengthen the central department.
