The 40-year-old midfielder has been on the books of Birkirkara FC for two seasons now and this season he was a regular starter for Andre Paus’ side during their UEFA Conference League ties against La Fiorita, of San Marino, and NK Olimpija Ljubljana, of Slovenia.
However, the right-sided midfielder has yet to make an appearance for the Stripes in the BOV Premier League and was keen for a move that would provide him the chance of more first-team football.
Birkirkara and Mosta reached a deal on Wednesday evening and Roderick Briffa put pen to paper on a two-year contract.
On the other hand, Isaac Ntow had fallen out of favour at Birkirkara after failing to agree on a new contract at the club.
In fact, the Ghana defender did not make a single appearance for the Stripes since the start of the season and it was only natural for him to seek pastures new.
Ntow also agreed personal terms with Mosta and has put pen to paper on a two-year contract.
The Ghana defender arrives at Mosta with a few years of experience in Maltese football after he was brought to Malta by Hibernians in 2019 before joining the Stripes the following season.
Both Briffa and Ntow could make their first appearance for Mosta in the Premier League when they face Ħamrun Spartans next month.
