Haley Bugeja featured from the start for the third game in a row as she played in Sassuolo’s 2-0 win over Cesena in the Coppa Italia Femminile, on Saturday.
This was Sassuolo’s opening game in this group stage phase and they will face Como Women in their final game of this round, which will determine the qualified team to the quarter-finals of this competition.
Sassuolo against Como will pit Malta women duo Bugeja and Emma Lipman, captain of the national team, against each other as they will cross swords on December 19.
