Emma Ciantar Piccinino was on the winning side in the FA North Premier Women as her Sunderland Ladies U-21’s side secured their fifth win of the season.
The 4-2 win over i21i International Women U-21’s propelled them at the top of the championship with 16 points, as they share the lead with Wath Academy Girls Scholarship.
Ciantar Piccinino, who is part of the Malta U-19’s side together with fellow England-based Alexandra Gatt – was deployed from the start and played the full game.
