Zach Muscat’s Casa Pia registered their 13th win of the season after beating CD Trofense 1-0, on Friday evening.
Casa Pia picked up the three points thanks to a Leonardo Lelo goal in the first half which sealed the win for Muscat’s team.
This win has lifted Muscat’s Casa Pia as sole leaders with 43 points, opening a three-point lead above second-place Benfica B.
The Malta international defender was in the starting formation and played a full game.
Casa Pia’s next league commitment will pit them against CD Nacional on February 19.
