Marseille have loaned out American winger Konrad de la Fuente to Greek champions Olympiakos for the new season, the Piraeus club announced on Saturday.
Local media report that Olympiakos have the option to make the 21-year-old’s stay permanent for four million euros.
He has made three appearances for the USA and figured in 22 matches for Marseille last season with three assists.
The Miami-born de la Fuente, who also holds Spanish citizenship, played for Barcelona B squad from 2018 to 2021.
He also became the first American to play for the Barcelona first team when he appeared briefly in two Champions League matches and a Copa del Rey tie.
