RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose will face his former club Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals of the German Cup in April.
Rose, who was sacked by Dortmund at the end of last season after just one year in charge, will be centre-stage once again when the two teams meet in a repeat of the 2021 final.
The Leipzig coach has already enjoyed revenge over his former club this season with a 3-0 win in the Bundesliga last September, and will be hoping to twist the knife as 2022 winners Leipzig continue their defence of the cup this season.
His next meeting with Dortmund will be the highlight of a quarter-final draw which also pits Bayern Munich against last season’s beaten finalists Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt against Union Berlin.
Nuremberg, the only team in the last eight from outside the top flight, will host relegation-threatened Stuttgart.
