Attard, 23, started the 2022/2023 campaign on the books of Swieqi United having been the number one custodian for the Owls in recent years.
The Maltese goalkeeper has now moved on where she will feature in England’s fourth-tier with York City currently sitting eighth in the 12-team championship.
Leading the championship are Durham Cestria, home of fellow Malta international Alexandra Gatt who recently made her senior debut with her country during the Luxembourg friendly.
York will be in action tonight when they host Hull City, with Attard expected to be in the team selection.
At international level, Attard represented the Malta women’s national team on three occasions, including a commanding showing against Denmark on home soil during the recent European Championship qualifications.
