Michaela Cachia and Jessica Dimech will continue their playing career at Swieqi United after the Owls confirmed their contract extensions.
Both individuals are considered key players at the club as Swieqi look to remain competitive even in the 2023/2024 season where they will be coached by Saviour Darmanin.
Cachia, 18, features as a midfielder for both U-19’s and senior side but last year she could not showcase her skills as she was recovering with a long-term injury.
Meanwhile, Dimech was a regular fixture with the senior side where she played both as a defender and as a midfielder. She was also the U-21’s captain during the past season.
Dimech started for Malta in last Saturday’s international friendly against Haiti in Switzerland.
