The Malta international collected 90th cap in Haiti friendly last month
Ylenia Carabott will return to English football after completing a move to London Seaward.
The experienced forward, who is recovering from an injury she picked with the national team, joins her third English club on a one-year deal where she will be playing in the FA Women’s National League – Division One, the fourth tier.
The championship will start on August 20 when Seaward host Actonians on Matchday 1.
Carabott’s previous two clubs in England were Keynsham Town – 19 games in 2021/2022 season, and Gillingham Ladies, first part of last season where she scored twice in eight games.
She finished the 2022/2023 season on the books of Spezia, in the Italian Serie C, where she found the net on one occasion in eight appearances.
Last month, Carabott featured for Malta in the high-profile friendly against Haiti, collecting her 90th cap at international level.
At London Seaward, Carabott will join fellow Maltese Emma Ciantar Piccinino who has been confirmed for another year by the club.
