Newly-formed local Real Madrid supporters group will host a free, open-air big-screen showing of next week’s highly-anticipated Champions League where the Los Blancos will eye a record-15th triumph against Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

Known as Pena Madridista Malta, they will host the event at the Kazin Banda San Nikola, in Siggiewi, with festivities kicking off at 7pm.
Founded in December 2023, the Pena Madridista Malta has quickly grown to over 100 members, uniting local supporters of the Spanish football giants.
The group is currently seeking official recognition from Real Madrid to solidify its status as an official supporters club.
“We’re thrilled to offer this event to all Real Madrid fans in Malta,” said Noel Mifsud, the Committee’s Secretary General, to the Times of Malta.
“Whether you’re a die-hard Madridista or just a neutral football fan, we invite everyone to join us for what promises to be a fantastic evening.
We have a pre-party planned with giveaways, food, and drinks, all leading up to the big match.”
Pena Madridista Malta regularly organises gatherings for members and friends to watch Real Madrid matches together, fostering a sense of community and shared passion for the team.
The Champions League Final screening is expected to be a landmark event for the growing club.
