Marsaxlokk FC completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Guttiner, the Premier League club announced.
The 29-year-old midfielder becomes the second acquisition of the Southerners this week after on Tuesday they completed the signing of Argentine defender Lucas Lopez.
“We are happy to announce that the 29-year-old Brazilian midfielder, Guttiner joins Marsaxlokk F.C.,” the Premier League club said in a statement.
“Join us in giving Guttiner a warm welcome as he embarks on this exciting journey with us!”
The right-sided midfielder is not a new face for Maltese football as he was on the books of Hibernians in season 2018-19.
In fact, Guttiner made eight appearances with the Paola club and scored one goal.
The Brazilian arrived in Malta after a spell in Ukraine with Olimpik Donets and Chornomorets.
After leaving Hibernians, he returned to Ukrainian football where he donned the colours of Obolon-Brovar before signing for Czech club Viktoria Zizkov.
In the last few years, he had a spell in Poland with Stomil Olsztyn before heading to the Middle East with Naft Al Wasat in Iraq.
Last February, he moved to Japan where he joined Second Division side Esperanza and made three appearances.
