Matthew Camilleri scored his second victory in the Cage Warriors (CW) organisation after beating Italian fighter Emanuele Sabatino in a Lightweight division fight, on Thursday.
Fighting at the BEC Arena in Manchester, Camilleri picked up the split decision after three rounds of fight.
The Maltese fighter has now moved to eight wins in 10 fights.
Camilleri is the 32nd-ranked among 231 active UK/Ireland Pro Lightweights while he sits 174th among Europe’s 1326.
He is affiliated with American Kickboxing Academy and trains at the Next Generation MMA Liverpool gym.
CW is an Irish-owned MMA promotion company based in England and was established in 2001.
The promotion has a digital broadcasting deal with the more popular Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to have its shows shown live across the world and has also brokered television broadcast deals with major broadcasters across Europe and Asia.
