Mġarr United and Hibernians fired blanks in the women’s league highlight clash this weekend.
Both teams had won their opening games as they are now on four points after a couple of outings.
The two teams created important chances to try and snatch the three points, but ultimately they could not find a breakthrough to leave champions Birkirkara alone on top with six points.

Swieqi United bounced back from their season opener defeat to clinch their first three points of the season.
The Owls, though, had to wait until the 70th minute to forge ahead through a Rafanny penalty.
Late in the game, then, Swieqi extended their lead with two more goals from Emma Xuereb and Sabrin Blihi own goal.
Dorianne Theuma, Swieqi coach, handed a debut to American midfielder Nicola Lebakos and North Macedonia player Eva Koneva in this match.
On the other hand, Valletta had Cisse Fatoumata, of France, featuring for the first time for the Citizens.

San Ġwann broke little sweat to beat Mtarfa and secure their first win of the season.
Summer signing Hailey Russell, who joined from Birkirkara, opened her San Ġwann as she scored a hat-trick.
Moroccan player Tourki Chaima scored a brace while the sixth was a Maria Abdilla own goal.
For San Ġwann, another new arrival was making her club debut in Nanako Kobayashi, also a former Birkirkara player.
