France coach Didier Deschamps has replaced injured central defender Dayot Upamecano with Lioc Bade for the upcoming Nations League matches with Belgium and Israel, a federation statement said on Monday.
The 25-year-old suffered a muscle strain in Bayern Munich’s 3-3 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.
Loic Bade has never played for France at full international level but the Sevilla defender was in the Paris Olympics team that won the silver medal.
France play Israel on Thursday in Budapest and Belgium in Brussels on October 14.
