Haley Bugeja scored and helped Inter advance to the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia after beating Parma 5-2, on Wednesday afternoon.
The Malta international was given the nod as a starter and found the net just past the half-hour mark.
Parma, who are in Serie B, gave Inter a run for their money as the match finished 2-2 in regular time with the winner having to be determined in extra-time.
Nonetheless, Inter’s superiority came to the fore in the additional 30 minutes as they scored three goals to win 5-2.
In the next round, Bugeja will face former club Sassuolo with the quarter-finals pencilled for January.
