Malta women player Maria Farrugia continues to make a name for herself at Sheffield United after winning both October’s Barclays Women’s Championship Player and Goal of the Month accolades.
Farrugia, formerly of Sunderland Ladies and Durham Women, continued her brilliant form in November after scoring in Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Portsmouth in England’s second-tier.
The Blades are ninth in the 11-team Championship with 4 points after 9 matches.
