Paola Executive Security top Division to secure promotion
Falcons are the new volleyball champions after assuring themselves of top spot in the women’s Super League last weekend.
In the First Division, Paola Executive Security were declared as the 2025 winners and will be playing in the Super League next season.
In the women’s Super League, Falcons mathematically assured themselves of finishing top when they overcame Flyers 3-1.
Falcons, under the charge of Jacques Seifert, race into a 2-0 lead when winning the opening two sets 25-14 and 25-8 respectively.
Flyers fought back in the third set when they came out on top 25-21.
However, Falcons immediately regained their composure as they took the third set 25-13 to seal victory.
The 2024-25 season has turned out to be a special Falcons as their league success completes a memorable double after earlier this year they won the National Cup when they defeated Paola Executive Security in the final.

However, this win was not enough for Mġarr to retain their top-flight status.
