Chad international striker joins Żabbar SP

Żabbar St Patrick continued with their transfer activity when they reached an agreement to sign Chad international striker Haroun Tchaouna.

Tchaouna’s transfer came on the same day that his brother Loum moved to English Premier League side Burnley.

“We are pleased to announce the signing of Haroun Tchaouna,” Zabbar SP said in a statement.

“Haroun, 25, is another dynamic addition to our attacking department and his acquisition will give Coach Parisi more offensive options.

“Haroun has already featured 4 times with the National Team of Chad.”

Tchaouna started his career in France, where he featured for the U-19 side of Stade Rennes before heading to Italy, where he played for lower-tier sides Caravaggi and Valcalepio.

In 2021, he was back in France with Dijon and Jura Dolois B.

Last season, he moved to Italian side Ferentino where he made 15 appearances in the Italian Sere D, scoring three goals and provided one assist.
