Swieqi United and Birkirkara lived up to the expectations, delivering comfortable victories to book their Jubilee Cup semi-finals berth.
The Owls eased past Valletta 8-0 while the Stripes broke little sweat to beat San Ġwann 9-1.
Coached by Dorianne Theuma, Swieqi will now face league leaders Mġarr United while Birkirkara take on Hibernians.
Salamatu Abdulai grabbed four goals for the Owls while forward Sara Saliba found the net twice. The other goals were scored by Valentina Rapa and Aleksandra Yaneva.
Meanwhile, Momo Ueda and Mariah Cardona scored twice each to propel Birkirkara to a large victory over San Ġwann.
Amy Busuttil, Ylenia Grech, Haruhi Sekura, Maia Gauci and Lara May Azzopardi wrapped up the win.
Morena Fanega was San Ġwann’s sole scorer.
