Malta FA Jubilee Cup quarter-finals to be played on November 29-30

The Malta Football Association announced the fixtures list for the Malta FA Jubilee Cup semi-finals that will be played between Saturday, November 29 and Sunday, November 30.

The eight quarter-finalists of this one-off competition are Mosta, Sliema Wanderers, Żabbar St Patrick, Żebbuġ Rangers, Valletta, Ħamrun Spartans, Tarxien Rainbows and Marsaxlokk.

The first two quarter-finals will be played on November 29 at the Centenary Stadium, when Mosta take on Sliema Wanderers at 2pm and will be followed by the clash between Żabbar St Patrick and Żebbuġ Rangers.

The most-awaited quarter-final will be undoubtedly that between fierce rivals Valletta and Ħamrun Spartans which is scheduled to be played on November 30 at the National Stadium with kick-off set at 4pm.

The final quarter-final will be played soon after when Tarxien Rainbows take on Marsaxlokk, with the match under way at 6.15pm.

The winners of these ties will proceed to the semi-finals that will be played on Wednesday, December 3.

The first semi-final will see the winners of the tie between Valletta and Ħamrun Spartans up against the winners of the tie between Tarxien and Marsaxlokk. This opening semi-final will kick off at 6pm.

Next up will be the second semi-final between the winners of the tie of Mosta and Sliema Wanderers against the winners of Żabbar St Patrick and Żebbuġ Rangers. This match is scheduled to start at 8.45.

All these matches will be played with the Football Video Support System.

The MFA Jubilee Cup final for both the men’s and women’s competitions will be played on December 8 with the women’s title match starting at 2.30pm while the men’s showdown will be played at 5.30pm.
