Floriana sign Bosnia midfielder Alen Kurtalic

Floriana FC have announced the signing of Bosnian defensive midfielder Alen Kurtalic.

The Greens are looking to strengthen their squad for the second part of the season where they are hoping to challenge for the main honours, namely the Premier League and the FA Trophy.

Added to that they are trying to bring in cover as Charles M’Mwombwa is set to head to the African Cup of Nations next month to represent Tanzania.

“Floriana FC is pleased to announce the signing of 26-year-old Bosnian defensive midfielder Alen Kurtalić,” the club said in a statement.

“Kurtalić joins Floriana FC from FC Bishkek City, following an extensive stint with FK Sloboda Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he accumulated more than 100 premier league appearances.

“We welcome Alen to the Floriana family and wish him every success as he begins this new chapter in green and white.”
