The clash between Swieqi and Falcons turned out to be a hard-fought affair with Swieqi managing to edge the opener 26-24.
The champions were on top in the second set as they cruised home 25-17.
Falcons were not ready to go out without a fight, and they re-opened the match when taking the third set 25-22.
But any hopes Falcons had of forcing a decider were ended in the fourth set when Swieqi cruised home to take it 25-10.
In the other match, Birkirkara overcame the challenge of Paola Executive Security 3-1.
It was the Paola side who started strongly, taking the opening set 25-13.
But Birkirkara hit back strongly, winning the next three sets 25-22, 25-26, and 25-22.
Although the championship is called Super League, there are only five teams competing in it, and in the final standings, Swieqi placed first on 31 points, while Flyers were the runners-up on 22, one ahead of Falcons.
Birkirkara finished with 14 points while Paola finished bottom on two points and were relegated to Division One.
The Paola side will be replaced by Mġarr, after the latter won promotion from Division One.
