Another Depiro player makes his way to Sheffield as 16-year-old Nelly Lee Pace joins Julia Borg at the UK academy.
The move, confirmed on Depiro’s socials on Friday, adds another Malta international making taking his talents abroad.
The Malta U-16 forward was part of the team for the 2019 FIBA U-16 European Champions Division C, in which they placed ninth.
Pace averaged 6 points and 5 rebounds during the tournament.
The Mtarfa side expressed its pride in seeing “Nelly’s hard work resulted in him being awarded a scholarship”.
