Żejtun Corinthians are expected to make some changes to their foreign line-up during the January transfer window as the Premier League newcomers look to strengthen their squad in a bid to retain their status in the top-flight.
The Corinthians have decided to part ways with three overseas players who were part of Orosco Anonam squad in the first part of the season.
Rafael De Fex has left the Corinthians and has agreed to join Marsaxlokk on loan until the rest of the season.
The Venezuelan attacking midfielder made five appearances for Żejtun this season and managed to find the net twice.
Fernandinho is another player who was granted the release by Żejtun Corinthians, in somewhat a surprise decision.
In fact, the Brazilian midfielder had caught the eye for Żejtun and managed to put his name on the scoresheet five times for the Corinthians.
The other player who parted ways with Żejtun is forward Ricardo Faria.
The former Sirens and Tarxien forward struggled to leave his mark for the Corinthians as he managed to net just one goal in seven appearances.
At present, coach Anonam is running the rule on three overseas player but so far no decision has been made on whether they will be offered a contract.
