Santa Lucia have completed the signing of Augusto Caseres.
The 23-year-old Argentine striker started the season with Gudja United, after sealing a loan move from Floriana at the start of the season, but struggled to command a regular place in Jesmond Zammit’s squad.
In fact, he made nine appearances for the southerners, mostly from the bench, and has yet to find the net this season.
When Sta Lucia came knocking to the door, the former Senglea forward was keen to seek pastures new and after bringing to a premature end his loan stint at Gudja United he accepted to move to the Saints.
Sta Lucia and Floriana successfully held talks over the move and agreement was finally reached on Monday.
