Hibernians have bolstered their offensive department with the acquisition of 32-year-old forward Wilfried Domoraud.
The Paolites announced the signing on their social media channels,
“We proudly announce that an agreement have been reached between our club and Wilfried Domoraud for the player to join the club,” a Hibernians’ statement said.
Born in France, Domoraud will be playing his fourth straight season in the Maltese Premier League since signing for Ħamrun Spartans back in the 2018/2019 season.
At the Spartans, Domoraud scored 13 goals with 6 assists in the process, in 32 games.
He moved to Gżira United in January 2020 with whom he played just six games, scoring once and grabbing two assists, as the season came to a premature ending due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Last season, Domoraud was on the books of Sirens with whom he found the net on eight occasions in 23 games. At Sirens, he also played in the UEFA Europa League qualifications against CSKA Sofia.
Hibernians are set to face Estonia champions Flora Tallinn in next week’s first leg from the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round.
