Maltese coach Jose Borg emerged victorious in his debut at the helm of Canadian side FC Manitoba.
Borg’s team faced Edmonton Scottish Soccer Club in the first of two friendly games against them as part of the Exhibition Summer Series that is replacing Manitoba’s league commitments due to the coronavirus pandemic.
FC Manitoba recorded a 4-2 victory with former Floriana and Tarxien Rainbows player Michele Paolucci grabbing two goals for Borg’s team.
Both sides will cross swords again on August 1.
