Depiro Basketball Club announced the re-signing of shooting guard TJ Atwood on Monday.
The 6’6 guard out of Lamar University in the US had joined the Mtarfa club back in January and put on impressive performances under coach James Bamfield.
With last season’s basketball league cut short, it was unclear if the newly acquired American player would remain despite his performances where he averaged 30 points a game, hitting a season-high of 52. However, the club’s announcement confirms that Atwood will now stay put ahead of the upcoming season.
