After announcing their merge with Lija Athletic, Raiders women’s team are looking to strengthen their squad as they announced the signing of Leah Ayres.
The English youngster, aged 17, will be playing with the U-20’s and senior side of Raiders Lija women’s team.
Ayres has been on the books of Mosta in the past seasons, having played for the Blues in both youth and senior categories.
Last season, she scored three goals in 12 senior league appearances whereas in the U-19’s league, Ayres found the net five times in nine games.
