Sirens FC have announced the signing of Romanian winger Bogdan Gavrila.
The 29-year-old has agreed personal terms with the St Paul’s Bay’s side and has put pen to paper on a one-year contract.
Gavrila is not a new face in Maltese football as the skilful winger has already played in the Maltese Premier League in the past.
In fact, in season 2018-19 he was part of the Valletta team that clinched the Premier League title in an epic title decider against Hibernians.
“Sirens FC are delighted to announce that Romanian winger Bogdan Gavrila has agreed to join our club,” the Premier League club said in a statement.
“Bogdan is a versatile winger who can play off the right or left-hand side.
“Apart from playing in Romania and Cyprus Bogdan also has a BOV Premier league medal playing for Valletta FC in the 2018/2019 season.”
Prior to his move to Malta, Gavrila has played with some top teams in Romania, namely Otelul Galati, Dinamo Bucharest and Petrolul.
He also had a spell in Cyprus with Ethnikos.
After his departure from Valletta, Gavrila returned to two of his former clubs namely Petrolul and Otelul Galati.
