Serie B debuts for Maltese trio as Farrugia’s Sunderland hold Crystal Palace

ENGLAND

Maria Farrugia was in the starting formation for Sunderland Ladies as they extended their unbeaten start to three matches in the FA Women’s Championship, following their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Emma Ciantar Piccinino made her second appearance for Sunderland West End Ladies as they drew 2-2 against Wakefield. Piccinino made an assist for one of their goals as her team has now grabbed a win and a draw in the opening two games from the Northern East Premier League.

Zach Muscat was a starter for Casa Pia as they drew 0-0 away at CD Trofense in the Portuguese second-tier.

BELGIUM

Teddy Teuma captained Royal Union St Gilloise in their 1-1 draw with Genk in the Belgian top-flight.
