In this week’s episode GAME ON, Ben Camille met with hairstylist Marielle Calleja – in the past few years, Calleja has started practising the sport of boxing in a bid to keep herself fitter and healthier.
Calleja said that until to a few years ago she did not care too much about her appearance – and felt she always gave a priority to her children and her family.
“I had a problem with my eating habits,” Calleja said.
“I was not happy with myself but I always bottled up everything inside me. But then I decided to find something that would make me feel better and started attending boxing workouts. These not only helped me lose weight but also gave me the confidence to start prioritising my needs. As a result, today I feel much happier.
“Admitting that you have a problem is the first step to turn your life around – my advice to anyone experiencing my same problems is to start giving more importance to your needs as that is the only way to move forward.”
During GAME ON, Camille and Calleja tried to guess the results of three key matches from the English Premier League, the Italian Serie A and the Maltese Premier League.
Under-pressure United face Tottenham test
Both Camille and Calleja tipped Manchester United to come out on top from their clash against Tottenham in London.
United are coming into the match under intense pressure following last Sunday’s disastrous 5-0 defeat against fierce rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford.
The defeat has inevitably increased the speculation over the future of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who so far has kept his job – but another defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday might spell the end of his spell as manager.
United have only one point to show from their last three Premier League matches and have slipped down to seventh in the standings, so they will target nothing less than a win to try and turn around their recent form.
Tottenham, on the other hand, have little to smile about in the Premier League this season as the Spurs are just one place ahead of United in sixth place.
The Spurs are also looking to bounce back following last weekend’s defeat at West Ham – though in midweek they reached the quarter-finals of the League Cup after overcoming Burnley 1-0 in midweek.
Roma host Serie A leaders Milan
Camille and Calleja both tipped Milan to beat Roma in the Italian Serie A.
Milan are coming into the match in a rich vein of form as the Rossoneri have won their last five outings, including a 1-0 win over Torino midweek.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic now fully recovered from injury and Olivier Giroud in prolific form, the Rossoneri will fancy their chances of extending their winning run.
However, Roma are keen to continue their bright start to the season and in midweek they were back to winning ways when they came from behind to beat Cagliari 2-1.
Birkirkara looking to upstage leaders Hibernians
On the other hand, Camille and Calleja failed to agree on the Maltese Premier League match between Hibernians and Birkirkara. Camille said the match will end in a draw while Calleja tipped the Paolites to bag the three points.
Hibernians and Birkirkara have been the most consistent sides this season and it’s no surprise they are sitting in the top two places in the standings.
The Paolites are the only unbeaten side in the division and will be bidding to get back to winning ways after they were held by Valletta last weekend.
Birkirkara, on the other hand, suffered an unexpected defeat to Sirens last weekend when they threw a 2-1 lead to slump to a 3-2 defeat.
No doubt, the Stripes will be targeting all three points as they look to cut the gap with the Premier League leaders.
