We are pleased with Satariano, says Frosinone’s director Angelozzi

Frosinone director Guido Angelozzi has rebuffed any claims that any of their forwards, including Alexander Satariano, will leave the club unless they are the ones who put in a transfer request.

Speaking in a press conference that launched the second half of Frosinone’s Serie B campaign, Angelozzi was asked if they will bring in any reinforcements to their offensive department.

“Right now we are pleased with Charpentier, Novakovic, Ciano, Satariano and the other players,” Angelozzi replied.

“It is a department full of players but in the transfer market anything can happen.

Maybe we receive an offer or one of the players requests a move somewhere else. Only in that case we evaluate other profiles to add to our squad as a replacement.”

Despite making just a couple of cameo appearances in this Serie B campaign, Angelozzi has always heaped praise on the Malta international player.

In an interview to Sky Sport, early in the season, Angelozzi was keen about the development of the former Sliema Wanderers player at Frosinone.

Led by Fabio Grosso, Frosinone are currently eighth with 28 points after 18 games in the Serie B. They will return in action against leaders Pisa on January 15.
