We have all heard of how obesity is a major problem not just in Malta, but in the whole wide world. Cardiologists and many other health professionals state how one out of every five deaths in Malta have risks related to cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks or diabetes.
Yet, Evolve Endurance Club together with the support of AQA Capital Ltd. wanted to create and impose awareness about this.
AQA Capital Ltd has always worked in Malta with the aim of improving the well-being of all the stakeholders. It was until then that the two join forces for this common goal, therefore the Obesity Training Program was created.
Evolve Endurance Club is a non-profit making organization committed to the overall health and well-being of those who engage in physical activity. Our club endeavours to promote endurance, athletics and any other form of physical activity with the focus being the mental, physical and social well-being of its registered members.
In this journey, the 20 participants are given the opportunity to change their lifestyle and their mentality.
This is a nine-month fully sponsored programme organised thanks to AQA Capital Ltd, which will cater many events for people who are having challenges related to obesity.
Those who were eligible to participate in the program are given the chance to benefit from the team of Evolve Endurance Club who worked hard to provide a very exciting programme.
The programme includes a sponsored coach, as well as trainers who will be providing the physical training, as well as a sponsored nutritionist with customized nutritional plan and frequent, follow ups.
The target of this programme is to remain close and up contact with the participants whilst delivering better understandings, preparation, and guidance towards a healthier lifestyle.
Focusing on one’s strength, processing any challenges, and setting their goals will empower the individual’s motivation! The team will also be there to assist, hear any feedback, and give advice to the trainees.
Last but not least, during the kick start of this fully booked program, the participants were given a surprise! The best female and the best male who will be considered as the ‘biggest losers’, will be rewarded with €500 each.
After all, the main scope behind all this privileged package is not only for the monetary prize, but as the proverbs says ‘give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime’.
The individual’s input and willingness will not only result to look good and feel better, but to keep maintaining that healthy lifestyle for life and even perhaps share it with others.
