Hibernians FC will celebrate their 13th Premier League title on Saturday when they will face Gżira United at the Tony Bezzina Stadium as the Malta Football Association announced the final day of fixtures from the BOV Premier League.
On Sunday, the Paolites were crowned Malta champions after they beat Birkirkara 3-1 at the National Stadium to take an unassailable four-point lead over nearest rivals Floriana.
The Malta Football Association received a request from Hibernians to host their final match at their own Tony Bezzina Stadium and the local governing body of football gave their green light.
In fact, Hibernians will face Gżira United at the Tony Bezzina Stadium at 4pm.
With Gżira United still with a chance to finish in third place, which would yield a place in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers, their match with the Paolites will be played at the same time of the clash between Ħamrun Spartans and Birkirkara who will meet at the National Stadium.
The relegation duel between Balzan and Sta Lucia, who are currently tied at second from bottom on 27 points, will take centre stage on Friday.
In fact, Balzan will face Sliema Wanderers at the Tony Bezzina Stadium while Valletta take on Sta Lucia at the National Stadium, with both matches kicking off at 7pm.
The other two matches from the Premier League will be played on Thursday with Gudja United facing Floriana at the National Stadium while Mosta take on Sirens at the Tony Bezzina Stadium, with both matches starting at 7pm.
