Veteran goalkeeper Justin Haber has returned to Hibernians for a second spell, the Paolites announced on their official website.
Haber, 40, was on the books of Sta Lucia during the 2021/2022 season where he played 14 games in all competitions including the FA Trophy semi-final against Valletta.
Hibernians were looking to replace Maltese goalkeeper Matthew Calleja Cremona after the latter parted ways with the Paolites after three seasons.
For Haber, this will be his second time joining Hibernians after featuring for the Paolites in the 2015/2016 season and was also between the sticks for their Europa League qualifications in the early stages of the 2016/2017 campaign.
Ibrahim Kone, Hibernians’ other goalkeeper, and midfielder Ali Diakite have already extended their contracts to another season until 2023. On the other hand, Malta defender Ferdinando Apap has renewed until the 2024/2025 season at the club.
Meanwhile, the Paolites bolstered their squad with the acquisitions of defender Lorenzo Fonseca and forward Gabriel Mensah.
