Hibernians women’s team have bolstered their squad with three more signings as they gear up their preparations for the 2022/2023 MFA Women’s League season.
The Paolites, who will be led by coach Keith Gouder, announced the arrivals of defender Chloe Ann Ellul, midfielder Amy Busuttil and Iulia Mifsud who plays as a forward.
All three were on the books of Swieqi United last season. Ellul had also spells at Tarxien Rainbows and Hibernians, and has represented Malta at youth levels too.
Like Ellul, Busuttil was also on the books of Tarxien and Hibernians. She has also represented her country at youth level.
Forward Mifsud comes from Swieqi, having also been already at Hibernians. She was part of the Malta U-19’s side that picked up seven points and earned promotion into League A in the European qualifications back in April.
Meanwhile, San Ġwann have unveiled coach Kurt Baldacchino as new Head of Women’s sector at the club.
The UEFA A license holder has had coaching spells at San Ġwann and Naxxar Lions.
“His main aim is to help grow our Women’s Sector further and provide the necessary guidance to develop our girls further in their football,” the club said in an official statement.
